Service Description

Start your yoga journey. Over 4 weeks, you’ll gently explore the key principles of yoga posture, breath, alignment, and mindfulness so that by the end, you’ll feel confident joining any class or developing your own home practice. Each session will include mindful movement, breathwork, relaxation, and time for questions. Course Overview: - Week 1: Foundations & Breath - Learn how to connect breath with movement and build awareness of your body. - Week 2: Standing Poses & Alignment - Feel stable and confident in standing poses while improving posture and focus. - Week 3: Seated Poses & Flexibility - Improve flexibility and learn how to adapt poses to your body. - Week 4: Flow & Integration - Feel the joy of moving fluidly with your breath, and leave feeling grounded, relaxed, and empowered to continue your yoga journey. After the 4 weeks, you'll leave with the confidence to join group classes or practice at home with a deeper sense of calm, balance, and connection. All classes take place at 8am on Saturday Mornings at Southsea Shala, 1 St Vincent Road, Southsea, PO5 2BB All mats, equipment and everything you need for your yoga practice is provided at the studio, you just need to show up!
